Whoa! What's happening?!!! Where is the Diary Page???!!!

Ok, I confess, I've been somewhat slack with this and that of late and, with nothing in particular to sort out on The Skull Club front (Shhhhhhhhhh), I didn’t really have anything to report but...

There has been so much going on around town! Let me jog my memory: Spitfire! That was ages ago but what the hell. Fishnet Parachutes, Driven Like The Snow, Uberweed and Abraxas, DJ duties to share with the legendary Andy X and consumption all round. What a gas. Those Spitfire guys are onto something and we wish them all the very best. Then there was the Tony Hill's gig at the Assems, with Lost In Vegas, Carousel Circus and The Moans... It gets a little hazy from here on... Decadence on Sunday's with just about everybody playing at some point, more DJ-ing from The Rich Clark, Dave Malys and myself, not forgetting all round entertainment and positive vibes from, the semi legendary, Ian Gibbons... Now I'm struggling... More Assems gigs, upstairs at Bonds, the fantastic but short lived Blue Lamp Film nights at the castle and the Assembly Rooms, nights partying and documenting with Frenchie, over indulgence and blah blah blah with D. Brainstorm and other shenanigans that take time to see through and even more time to recover from. Oh y'know what I'm trying to say... It's been happening Baby and, being the easily excitable type, I've been getting carried away with the whole damn scene. It's a good thing...

And the radio show! How about it? Did you guys dig it? Y'know, it was such a buzz getting it together. I must have listened to it ten times myself! The Illusive Andy C, The Combat Rocker and I had such a wild time making the fifty minute show. What began as a test run soon turned into an all out party, wine and t'ing fuelling our engines and maximum rock and roll as the soundtrack. Your soundtrack if you want it! I have to say that we've had a great response to the show so far and the pleasure is all ours (and the bands/artists that were featured, obviously). Look out for a new show soon...

A lot of you guys have been asking when the next Skull Club will be taking place too. Well... there is a date but... I don't remember when it is right now. Maybe July time? I know it's a lifetime away but, with any luck, there may be some other Skull Club involved activity happening somewhere soon. We'll let you know as soon as we know...

Ok, it's time to go. After days on a audio diet of Julian Cope, The Velvet Underground reunion album and 70's Miles Davis, I've suddenly gone late 80's thrash metal mad! It's 6.02 in the morning, Anthrax are playing far too loud on my system and I'm spinning furiously in my chair. Is there any hope?

Be good Skull Heads and feel free to send ridicule...
